Nativity

Year One spent a lot of time practising their part for the Nativity Play in the lead up to Christmas and did a fantastic job.

We had 10 angelic angels, 10 superb shepherds and 10 special stable-hands!

We also made some lovely Christmas cards and calenders for our parents to conclude our RE unit of work on 'Giving'.

African Art Comes to Year One!

Year One have enjoyed exploring a variety of African Art to celebrate Black History Month.

We discovered that particular colours and shapes are used in African Art. We used these when creating our own collage creations.
